What I'm shopping: Current Amazon Finds

Good morning friends! As we all know the retail industry is getting hit really hard right now, its hard to watch and even imagine this ever happening. Currently online sales are booming. Now I think its safe to say that delivery times will be longer than usual but I have no doubt Amazon will make that happen as fast as they can. They are working around the clock and most importantly allowing people to keep their jobs. I gathered a few of my recent purchases to share with y'all. These are all items that I personally bought (& I'm not just recommending). Also if you can, remember to support those small businesses too!

• Kimono/cardigan/cover up / I love this coverup for the pool, beach or lake! It also looks really cute with a white tank, denim shorts & sandals.

• Vintage Round Sunglasses / One of my favorite pairs of sunglasses! 

• Dress / I have this dress in black & grey. It's super flattering on & can be dressed up or down.

• Wrap bracelet / Just got the pearl in! I also have the grey/neutral.

• Miller Sandal Amazon Dupe / Currently waiting for these to come in. They had so many good reviews & I have seen them shared all over Instagram. 

• Walkize foot cushions / Ahhh, if you have been looking for heel inserts look no more, These are great! But once they're on, they're on! They come in a pack of two. I wouldn't recommend changing them out, they're very sticky- which is good!

• White top  / I've had this top since last spring & I love it! I just ordered the pink too. It pairs perfectly with leggings & it's little longer in the back.

• Joggers / BEST purchase! I'm obsessed with these joggers & they're under $13. I've dressed them up a little with a lace cami tucked in & down with the top listed above. They also look great with a basic graphic tee & denim jacket!

• Slippers / These are the #1 Best Seller in women's slippers on Amazon.

• Coconut Scrub / I've shared this before & I'm sharing again because its so good. I just reordered my 4th bottle! My husband has even started using it. Maybe I should have ordered two!

• No show socks / I've tried sooo many no show socks and they all slip off. These seem to be the only ones that actually stay on. I'm a big fan!

• Prayer journal / 52 week scripture, devotional, & guided prayer journal. This is great if you like to write things down like me.
• Melissa & Doug Shapes Puzzle 
• Melissa & Doug Pizza Party

• PicassoTiles 60 Piece Set

You can't go wrong with any toys, puzzles or games from Melissa & Doug. My little boy loves them all! These are just a few of his favorites. They have provided hours of entertainment while we have been staying home. The Picasso Tiles have kept my husband entertained as well, it's a win win for all! Stay healthy, safe & strong everyone!

Affordable & Trending: Target looks I love!

With spring officially arriving next week I could not be more excited to share my favorite Target looks with y'all! 5 spring looks with H&M

Happy Monday! Today I'm sharing 5 looks from H&M's new spring line up. I'll also be sharing a closer look of each outfit on my Instagram stories today so be sure to check those out (@brandimwhite). Incase you miss it they'll be saved to a highlight on my page ;-)

Look #1: With March right around the corner I thought this top would be great for St. Patrick's Day. I can't get over that these jeans are $9.99! They are totally worth the price.

 I'm wearing a size small in the top & size 25 in the white denim jeans.

Look #2: Ahhh I fell in love with this sweater! It's so warm & soft. I'm definitely all about the neutrals this season. I'm wearing a size XS.

Look #3: Perfect date night outfit! I love the leopard print. This top can be worn tucked in or out or even tied in a front knot, it's so cute on! I'm wearing a small in tank & tee and size 2R in the jeans.

Look #4: Hands down my favorite look! The pop of color in this top is so pretty and the fit is very flattering. The length isn't too short or too long (I'm 5'3 & wearing a small).

Look #5: Such a cute and colorful dress for spring! I love the puff sleeves too. Of course I had to pair it with my favorite white mules. I'm wearing a size small.

Good morning friends and happy Friday! Anyone else absolutely loving this tie dye trend? If you ask me Target has the best tees, hoodies & dresses to choose from! I love a good denim jacket. This one is from Old Navy & is my favorite go to jacket. The fit is so good! Also a fedora hat can really bring an outfit together. This look is perfect for a weekend brunch or day at the winery.

 I'm not really a fan of cropped tops but this one has my heart! I would recommend sizing up (I'm wearing a size small for reference and I'm 5'3). The pop of color in this top is so cute! This look is great for a day at the park with your littles.

 If I had to pick a favorite tee this one would be it. Comfy tees like this are my jam. You can dress them up or down with jeans or leggings. I just bought this hat from Francesca's in the Hill Country Galleria & it was only $20! I have to stay true to my hometown Austin!

I had the most fun styling this top. It's a bit oversized (I'm wearing a small) so I went with the front tie twist. I'm wearing a pair of my favorite dainty earrings from Amazon, they go with everything! Also my blue light glasses & pearl wrap bracelet are from Amazon too. I've had these Sam Edelman mules since last spring, I'll link a similar pair that I'm also loving (& that I think will go with more outfits).

What's in my makeup bag?

Good morning friends! Today we are heading to spend the weekend at the river house. I'm a last minute packer so I was up until 1am getting everything ready. When my alarm went off at 6am I really wished I had packed more throughout the week. It's really the laundry that gets me every time. Does anyone else feel the need to have every single item of clothing that you own clean before leaving town? Bring on the coffee and concealer! With that being said I wanted to share what's in my makeup bag. My everyday makeup routine usually takes me about 5 minutes! One of my favorite beauty tips is using my bronzer as eyeshadow. It not only saves a bit of time but also gives your eyes a pop of color. Start in the center of your crease and just sweep outward then back inward once, a little goes a long way!

Amazon Beauty Favorites

I know I'm not the only one obsessed with Amazon, and if you don't have Amazon Prime then you're missing out because it is worth every single penny! You get free two day delivery (& sometimes even same day delivery) right to your doorstep. Today I'm sharing a few of my favorite beauty products that I have ordered on Amazon. It is so much easier to really shop for products online, especially beauty products. You have time to read reviews, product descriptions, really look at the ingredients etc. without trying to keep your little one from diving out of the shopping cart. Here are a few of my must haves...

1. Coconut Sugar Facial Scrub / This scrub is everything! I'm currently on my second bottle and I love it. I use it to exfoliate my face before I use my tan drops. It smells heavenly and really smooths out my skin. It's like a mini-facial!

2. GIMME hair bands / These hair ties are great for working out. Much better for your hair than rubber bands! And lets all be honest, we all love a good hair band "bracelet" -they look super cute on your wrist.

3. Makeup brush set / I'm a big fan of Sonia Kashuk makeup brushes from Target and the IT brushes from Ulta, I've even splurged on the Hourglass brushes at Sephora. I will say these are a great quality for the price. They also offer FREE RETURNS so you can be the judge ;-)

4. Makeup brush cleaning mat / I wish I could say that I clean my makeup brushes more often than I do, but truth is I do about once every month or two. This mat makes it super easy! 

5. Vitamin E oil / What I love about this product is how hydrating it is for your skin. We all know to drink lots of water, that's easy- but we need more than just that. I rarely skip a day or night of using this. I just add a few drops to my moisturizer (you can also use it alone). I truly believe dry skin causes wrinkles. Why not do what we can to prevent even a little bit of aging by just applying a few drops of vitamin E oil to our face? Be sure to also concentrate on the dark/sun spots when applying, I use just a dab on my sun spots to help lighten them. (I use the unscented).  

6. Simple cleansing facial wipes / Loveee these! Super gentle on your skin. After a run I'll sometimes just wipe my face with these to get the sweat and salt off if I don't have time to wash my face.

7. Beakey blending sponges / 5 blending sponges for $8.99. This particular brand has almost 8K 4.5 star reviews on Amazon. *The key to using a makeup sponge like this is to get it wet first.* Just run it under cold water for a few seconds then squeeze out the excess water. I love using these for my under eye concealer, it helps my makeup not look 'cakey'. 

8. Revlon one step hair dryer + volumizer brush / LIFE CHANGING. I feel like this hair tool needs it's own post recognition. It is amazing, hands down one of my best purchases of 2019. I no longer use my blow dryer and I rarely use my hair straightener. 

9. Tinkle razors / I've used these little razors since 2012. Do not use them near your eyebrows! They are meant to shave your face. I concentrate around my forehead, upper and side of lips & outer cheeks. Shaving your face can really help your overall complexion look smoother- not to mention your makeup will go on much better. Doing it too often can dry out your skin so be sure to only do it once a week!

Amazon Travel Favorites

We have several trips coming up and I thought that this post would be a perfect time to share with you all how I get ready for a trip. If you follow me on social media then you know that our little family travels a lot! We mainly travel to our river house in Concan, Texas and our beach condo in Destin, Florida. I guess you could say we love the water! I've already started packing for a girls trip to Destin in exactly two weeks. I'm so excited to share all the fun things that I'll be taking with me. I did a Target run today for a few spring basics and they had so many cute and affordable spring looks already out that I can't wait to style!

 

I only have to pack for myself and a toddler. My husband is good about getting his bags packed and ready to go. I do ALL the laundry so that definitely makes it easy for him. He'll never admit this but he over packs, like takes it to another level. Does a man really need 8 pairs of shorts and 14 t-shirts for 3 days? Our two little fur babies get one bag, two beds and two blankets- they're easy!

 

 

 

 

1. Packing cubes / This brand has 5K+ five star reviews! I LOVE mine. It makes organizing (especially summer apparel) so easy to find when you're getting ready on a trip. I pack a cube for shorts, another for tanks/tees, swimsuits/cover ups, pajamas and one of the smaller cubes for bras/undies/socks. You name it- it has its own cube!

2. Toiletry bag / It holds a lot more than you would think. Love the print on this one!

3. Shoe bags / These have changed my packing game :-) I normally have shoes all over the car because I don't want to put dirty shoes in my suitcase with clean clothes. Problem solved!

4. Steamer / I don't even use an iron anymore. This streamer is great!
 
5. Makeup mirror / Makes it easy to do my makeup sitting at a table (with a glass of wine) or at the kitchen island instead of standing up leaning into the bathroom mirror. This mirror is nice because it also lights up & it's just really cute!

6. Jewelry box / Perfect for a few jewelry pieces & makes a great gift. I got this for my sister in law this Christmas and she loved it.

7. Makeup bag / Just $7 & great quality!

8. Inflatable travel toddler bed / We've used this inflatable bed for our son (he'll be 3 years old in April) since September and he loves it. As do I! He is a big boy for his age and fits comfortably.

9. All purpose tote  / I was so hoping this bag was still on Amazon and it was! I had to go back to my orders from 2017 to find the link. I bought this bag over 2 years ago and it goes with us on every single trip. I wish it came in more colors but it only comes in black (which is the one I have) & a red pattern print. It's a perfect kids bag because it has so many pockets. I use it for diapers, wipes, powder, bath products, sound machine, books & baby blankets -basically anything Michael Austin needs for bedtime!
